Veterinary laser therapy is a light-induced treatment that can be absorbed by the tissues, creating both a photo-thermal and photochemical reaction and producing a therapeutic benefit. This technique helps modulate several biological processes, such as muscle regeneration, wound healing, joint healing, and control of acute and chronic pain. The variety of laser therapies, ranging from industrial to medical in veterinary medicine, commonly used for surgery, rehabilitative therapy, pain control, and chronic conditions management, is driving the veterinary laser market.
The graph represents the pet owner's concern regarding the particular symptoms and when they choose to consult the veterinarian. This data is provided by the International Human-Anima Bond Survey Presentation, where a quantitative study was conducted of 19,000 pet owners and 1,500 veterinarians across five continents and ten countries. The implementation of laser therapy for the treatment of these issues is completely non-invasive, causing no harm or discomfort. Laser therapy helps the pet by relieving their pain, helping in mobility and regaining their energy, decreasing inflammation and swelling, increasing blood circulation, and speeding up the healing process. All these factors contribute to better recovery of the pet animal.
