Military Aircraft are designed for air-to-air combat. This has a vital role to play during warfare, either for transporting goods and supplies to war locations or providing air support during battle. Apart from this, military aircraft are also beneficial for search and rescue, reconnaissance, observation/surveillance, Airborne Early Warning and Control, transport, training, and aerial refueling.

MRTT stands for Multi Role Tanker Transport which allows mid-flight fuelling of an aircraft for extension of the mission time significantly. MRTTs consist of A310 and A330. The heavy transport aircraft and combat aircraft Airbus has is A400M and Eurofighter, respectively.
