A flooring adhesive is a strong, permanent glue used to attack flooring material on the subfloor or underlayment. Different types of floors require different adhesive solutions; however, some multi-purpose adhesives can work on multiple materials. Good quality flooring adhesive provides stability, durability, smooth and even finish appearance, and safety from hazards or floor damage. Compared to traditional glue used for flooring, constructive adhesive offers a stronger bond and has the ability to withstand harsh temperatures and environmental conditions.
The graph represents the market share of a particular category in the year 2021. The market was severely impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, where the supply chains for all sectors were interrupted, there was a decline in demand for products and services, and government-mandated closures. However, some sectors, such as education, retail, and healthcare, recovered faster than others. According to the AIA Construction Consensus Forecast Panel, construction spending on commercial buildings rose by 9% in 2022, and another 6.1% expansion was noticed in 2023. The largest market share is noticed by carpet flooring, and the least is by laminate.
